| The Man With the Iron Fists (R)• 1 hr 35 min
A fair attempt at a modern Kung Fu movie. If you enjoyed the action sequences of Kill Bill, then you may find this movie right up your alley.

|
| Chasing Mavericks (PG)• 1 hr 55 min
A true story about Jay Moriarty who looks to his role model (played by Gerard Butler) to gain the skills necessary to surf the mystical Maverick waves. An inspirational and heart-warming underdog movie.

| Silent Hill: Revelation (R)• 1 hr 35 min
This is a sequel to Silent Hill (2006) and based on the video game Silent Hill 3. If you haven’t seen the first one you may be confused. But if you’re familiar with the first movie you will find this to be an enjoyable sequel. Don’t expect it to be exactly like the game though! This is a horror movie and would make a decent date movie.

| Silent Hill: Revelation 3D (R)• 1 hr 35 min
No passes. In my opinion, not worth the 3D surcharge.
|
|
| Hotel Transylvania (PG)• 1 hr 35 min
This is a children’s movie featuring all the classic horror “monsters,” including Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, and more. Great for children or the family.
|
|
| Looper (R)• 1 hr 59 min
An excellent and original action movie about Loopers, special assassins who assassinate people sent back from the future by major criminal organizations.
|
|
| Pitch Perfect (PG-13)• 1 hr 52 minThis is similar to the recent “Step Up” and related movie, but done much better. There are a lot of aspects of being a new freshman in college that many students may find humorous or relatable. |

| Flight (R)• 2 hr 18 min
No passes. Troubling questions arise after a veteran pilot makes a miracle landing after a mid-air catastrophe and he becomes a hero who faces potential prison time. Great acting and an interesting story make this an excellent choice.

|
| Wreck-It Ralph (PG)• 1 hr 41 min
No passes. A video game villain wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. An amazing story and great characters make this one of our top choices this month! |

| Cloud Atlas (R)• 2 hr 52 min
As souls are born and reborn, they renew their connections to one another throughout the ages. Everything is connected: an 1849 diary of an ocean voyage across the Pacific; letters from a composer to his friend; a thriller about a murder at a nuclear power plant; a farce about a publisher in a nursing home; a rebellious clone in futuristic Korea; and the tale of a tribe living in post-apocalyptic Hawaii, far in the future. This movie is very long but well worth it.

| Fun Size (PG-13)• 1 hr 30 min
Wren’s Halloween plans go awry when she’s made to babysit her brother, who disappears into a sea of trick-or-treaters. With her best friend and two nerds at her side, she needs to find her brother before her mom finds out he’s missing. This movie is fun but more aimed at high schoolers.

|
| Paranormal Activity 4 (R)• 1 hr 35 min
The fourth installment of the Paranormal Activity franchise. More scares, creepy images and possession. A great date movie, but not much else. |
|
| Argo (R)• 2 hr 0 min
A dramatization of the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran. This movie is very dramatic and you’ll be on the edge of your seat the whole time. |
